Dear Local Health Departments,

This is a reminder about my upcoming accreditation webinar-- *Introduction
to Accreditation and QI*. It is being held on Tuesday, February 7th 9-11am.
Please *email me to register* if you haven't already. As a reminder, this
webinar will include a basic overview of Accreditation and QI concepts and
a review of resources and other opportunities available for LHDs.

All LHDs are in a different places with their accreditation preparation,
some are getting close to submitting their letters of intent, some are
working on their prerequisites and others are starting to look at the
requirements. In order to meet the accreditation needs of all LHDs, there
is the state-wide Accreditation Work Group, regional trainings and
one-on-one trainings/ meetings available.

In addition, I will be doing a webinar series in order to walk through some
of the predominant training needs that came up in the baseline assessment.
Below is the tentative plan for these webinars, however I will send out a
survey after each webinar in order to see if the training needs have
changed.

*February: *Intro to Accreditation, QI Overview, Review Accreditation

March: *Communication and messaging at different levels, staff and
leadership roles, buy-in for accreditation among staff and leadership*
April: *PHAB Accreditation Prerequisites & Gap Assessment (What has your
LHD completed that could be included or useful) *
May: *PHAB Documentation Requirements *
June: *Applying for Accreditation

Tuesday* *February 7th 9am-11am*. The agenda for this webinar will be sent
out soon. This webinar will be an overview of the basics and will include a
review of some resources that might be helpful for your HD as you get
started on accreditation preparation. I will be hosting this webinar in
Salem and there will be a room if you prefer to attend in person. The
webinar information and location will be included on the agenda.
