Upcoming Funding Opportunity for LHD Accreditation Preparation
NACCHO is excited  to announce an upcoming funding opportunity for local
health departments. With funding from the CDC's Office for State, Tribal,
Local & Territorial Support, NACCHO will be offering a fourth year of
Accreditation
Support Initiative (ASI) awards

These awards are intended to stimulate quality improvement and promote the
readiness of health departments to seek voluntary national accreditation
through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). Potential project
activities include  efforts to meet the identified PHAB prerequisites,
achievement of PHAB standards and measures, and offsetting accreditation
fees. In addition to monetary support, selected site will also receive
technical assistance from NACCHO and connections to peers in the field.
