[LHDAccreditation] Funding Opportunity: NACCHO ASI Grant

NACCHO will be offering a sixth year of Accreditation Support Initiative
(ASI) awards. These awards are intended to stimulate quality improvement
and promote the readiness of health departments to seek voluntary national
accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB).
Potential project activities include efforts to meeting identified PHAB
standards and measures, preparing documentation, and offsetting
accreditation fees. In addition to monetary support, selected sites will
also receive technical assistance from NACCHO and connections to peers in
the field.

*The Request For Proposals (RFP) for the ASI 2016-2017 awards will be made
available, via accreditNATION and on NACCHO’s website atwww.naccho.org/fees
<http://atwww.naccho.org/fees> during the week of 8/8/16*. If you are
interested in applying for this opportunity, NACCHO recommends that you
assess your agency’s accreditation preparation needs and goals over the
coming weeks to prepare for the application. NACCHO also recommends you
review its standard contract language because it cannot be modified if an
award is received.
