The PH Systems Innovation and Partnerships Unit has two new staff.  Julie
Black, formerly with the Health Security Preparedness and Response section,
has joined the team as our new PH Workforce Development Coordinator.  Joey
Razzano, who previously worked as a temp for us and most recently with the
Child Welfare Division of the Department of Human Services, has joined us
in the PH Accreditation and Accountability Coordinator position.



Julie is coordinating the training for new local public health
administrators.  As she begins the implementation of PHD’s workforce
development plan, she will be identifying ways we can continue to share
training opportunities with our local and tribal partners.  Joey will be
working with Kathleen Johnson to support the Accreditation Work Group.
Requests for accreditation documentation that come to PHD through the
Accreditation Work Group will be supported by Joey.



You will likely cross paths with Joey and Julie as they get settled into
their new roles.  If you do, I hope you will give them a big welcome.  We
are so excited to have them on the team and addressing some of the needs
that were on hold over the last few months.
