Subject: REMINDER: 11/17 webinar on resources to support QI/Accreditation Efforts

Reminder that we have a phPIN webinar tomorrow Thursday 11/17 from 4-5pm ET!

Join us for the next phPIN webinar entitled "Leveraging a CDC Public Health Associate to Support Your Quality Improvement and Accreditation Efforts" on Thursday, November 17, 4-5PM (ET) and you can register by clicking here<https://cc.readytalk.com/r/c64gn9gyhg9h&eom>.

This webinar will describe CDC's Public Health Associate Program (PHAP), a CDC-funded training program for early-career public health professionals, and discuss the benefits to your agency of hosting an associate. Hear directly from an associate and PHAP host site supervisor in an accreditation-related assignment on how the host site leveraged PHAP to further quality improvement and accreditation in their agency. This session will also provide tips for developing a quality PHAP training experience. We encourage you to learn more about the Public Health Associate Program<http://www.cdc.gov/phap/index.html> and how your agency could become a host site<http://www.cdc.gov/phap/become_hostsite/opportunity.html> by visiting the hyperlinked websites and reviewing the attached documents.

Upon completion of this webinar, participants should be able to:

1. Name two ways that hosting an associate could advance your organization's QI/accreditation efforts.

2. Discuss the seven (7) characteristics of a quality PHAP training experience.

3. List two tips for developing a quality PHAP host site application.

Also, please share this information with other groups who may also be interested in hearing about this topic.
