OPHA is again collaborating with the Coalition of Local Health Officials to
host a full day in person workshop and follow up 45-minute technical
assistance sessions for workshop attendees covering the relationship
between PHAB Domains 5, 8, and 9 and the foundational public health
services model. This year we will also live stream the first portion of the
workshop for those who cannot travel to the site.
The interactive workshop will provide participants with important tools and
resources to implement their plans as well as a big picture understanding
of the links between these domains and the foundational public health
service model (FPHS). Whether you are a small or large local health
department, the strategies and tools provided during the session will
assist in establishing effective workforce development plans, (PHAB Domain
8), Strategic Planning (Domain 5), and Quality Improvement and Performance
Management (Domain 9) requirements. Most importantly, the session will tie
these requirements together with Oregon's modernization work.
