<DIV>I'm a nurse and division director for public health at Marion Co. I've been in public health long enough to have been a generalist to start, but my public health experience has mostly been in communicable disease. I also spent about 11 years at a local hospital as the infection control nurse.</DIV>

<DIV>We are slowly working through the accreditation measures. Overall it has provided a helpful framework for program evaluation. I'm struck by the fact that we do many things in the course of our work, but if we don't document or have an official policy, it's not going to meet the accreditation standards. </DIV>
