accreditation. There are steps we need to get in place before even thinking of
applying -such as QI work, strategic Plan, and finish a community assessment.
There remain questions about the accreditation process such as the cost to
apply- and if the process will change before officially launched. I
suspect we will not be ready to apply for another year - Will be

<DIV>I would like to introduce myself to the group. I am the newly hired
Performance Improvement Manager for the Infrastructure grant. Been in this
position for about three weeks, one of which was spent traveling to Atlanta!
Prior to this role, I was the PHD Transformation Project Manager, leading our
divisional participation in developing continuous quality improvement skills and
capacity. Truly love CQI and am excited to expand my world and understanding to
the public health system level.</DIV>

<DIV>Question for you! How are the LHDs feeling about accreditation and applying
once the effort is officially launched? I imagine there is a range of
experience, just like within PHD. </DIV>
