<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14px">Join your public health colleagues in Corvallis on October 10 - 11 for the 67th Annual Meeting and Conference of the Oregon Public Health Association. These will be exciting and stimulating days devoted to education, networking, and shaping the future of public health in Oregon. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14px"><STRONG style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">Abstracts are now being accepted online</STRONG> for individual oral presentations, panel discussions, and posters. Abstracts addressing all public health topics are welcome. </SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14px"><STRONG><STRONG style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">The deadline</STRONG> for abstract submissions is <STRONG style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">Friday, June 17, 2011</STRONG></STRONG>.<BR><BR></SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14px">Abstracts will be peer reviewed and accepted on the basis of the following criteria:</SPAN></P>

<LI><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14px">Usefulness of the topic to public health professionals</SPAN> </LI></OL>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14px"><STRONG style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">Instructions:</STRONG> To submit an abstract, use the <A href="http://web.memberclicks.com/mc/getLink.do?id=1746348161621841113577PPEJ&linkId=48277">2011 OPHA Abstract Submission</A> form on the Oregon Public Health Association website. </SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14px">You can also locate the form by going to the Oregon Public Health Association homepage, </SPAN><A href="http://www.oregonpublichealth.org/mc/page.do?orgId=opha&sitePageId=87284"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14px">www.oregonpublichealth.org</SPAN></A><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14px">, and clicking on the link for the <STRONG><EM>Call for Proposals</EM></STRONG>. All submissions must include learning objectives. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14px">You do not need to be an OPHA member to present at the Conference. <EM>Presenters will be expected to register for the conference</EM>, however. </SPAN></P>
