<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Oregon State Public Health – in collaboration with Local Health Departments – is developing a new Web-based tool that will access, analyze and display Oregon data for community health assessments. It will also
be a powerful tool for supporting grant proposals, analyzing trends in key public health issues, writing reports, and generating data for program planning and policy development. The Oregon Public Health Assessment Tool (OPHAT) will be available to public
health users at the state, local and tribal levels and will replace VistaPHw. OPHAT is scheduled for release in mid-September 2012. VistaPHw will continue to be available until OPHAT is fully functional.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Your help is needed to ensure that OPHAT will be a quality product that meets the needs of public health users in Oregon. Please volunteer to participate in user testing of OPHAT prior to release. You can sign
up for one of three training and testing sessions on August 23<sup>rd</sup>, 24<sup>th</sup> or 28<sup>th</sup> from 1-5pm. The first half of the session will consist of training in how to use this new tool. As a tester, you will receive an account that will
allow you to be one of the first OPHAT users. You may participate in one of two ways: 1) attend in person at the Portland State Office Building, or 2) attend via webinar.
