Since 2017, Libros for Oregon has provided group purchasing of Spanish-language library materials for cohorts of libraries by sending a small team of librarians to the FIL in Guadalajara. However, due to instability in funding and increased shipping costs, we have made the difficult decision to pause group purchasing for 2025.

But have no fear! Our robust website has many supports for libraries seeking to improve their Spanish collections--including where to purchase materials, support for individuals who are attending the FIL, and assistance in cataloging and record creation. *If your school or library offers professional development funds or has support for you to attend the FIL, it is an incredible resource for your Spanish-speaking patrons and readers!
