[Libs-Or] ANNOUNCE: Oregon Library Association Technical Services Round Table Scholarship Opportunity

Hello Friends,

It is our great honor to present our 2025 OLA Technical Services Round Table (TSRT) Scholarship opportunity. Our goal is to facilitate more folks’ involvement in Technical Services and Oregon Library Association networking, education, and advocacy …and FUN. Technical Services is a dynamic, fascinating, and evolving area of library work that we want to share. Among other purposes of the OLA TSRT Scholarship, the main purpose is to offset some of the costs associated with attendance at OLA Conference 2025.

The award of one scholarship of $1000 is also to promote conference attendance from near or far in Oregon, confidently knowing that a good portion of their outlay for the OLA Conference 2025 will be offset by the TSRT scholarship.

You qualify to apply if:

  *   You are employed in a library position in Oregon with technical services duties (such as acquisitions, collection development, processing, cataloging) and;
  *   You are a member of OLA and TSRT or become a member before registering for the conference (scholarship funds may be used to cover the cost of membership).

We encourage and welcome scholarship applications until the due date of January 22, 2025
