Message-ID: <05b201dbeac7$37889110$a699b330$@hevanet.com> Civics for Adults Update July 1, 2025 Had a wonderful trip to Lakeview and Bend 1 ? weeks ago! In Lakeview I presented Misinformation and Propaganda on Tuesday eve. and, on Wednesday, Representation, Our Federal Government and the Constitution to enthusiastic audiences who also really appreciated that I had come in-person. On Friday I was in Bend for the Gov/Constitution workshop and the group was again very engaged. THANK YOU Marsha Richmond, Lake County LD Director, and to Shelley Batty, head of the Library Board in Lake County. Shelley attended one of my workshops at Oregon City PL way back in 2017, and, along with Marsha, who had attended a virtual workshop more recently, decided to write a grant to bring me down! And thank you, Liz Goodrich, Events Planner for Deschutes PL. Yay, public libraries! Please consider hosting the Representation, Our Federal Government and the Constitution workshop. It is an extremely timely and thought-provoking workshop that encourages us to consider what is working in our democracy and what may need some change! Upcoming workshops!
