Good afternoon!

Library Freedom Project (LFP) is excited to announce the launch of Library
Freedom Journal
<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://ojs.library.queensu.ca/index.php/lfj/index__;!!Mz3y04SuVKn4zVb91lY!l1EUXbjKmakMLz33zNNM23Fpi3n-3t9YVtipTzHYbvBwKCikbo7YtFIOfQt-4LQNp7hFdiAd9z4H2KZMNymhIQ$>
(LFJ).

LFJ is the society journal published by LFP, an organization that is
radically rethinking the library professional organization by creating a
network of values-driven librarian-activists working together to build
information democracy. We publish works that focus on issues like privacy,
intellectual freedom, and information democracy and that represent the core
values of LFP
<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://libraryfreedom.org/lfp-values/__;!!Mz3y04SuVKn4zVb91lY!l1EUXbjKmakMLz33zNNM23Fpi3n-3t9YVtipTzHYbvBwKCikbo7YtFIOfQt-4LQNp7hFdiAd9z4H2KaKYto_Bw$>
.

This issue will focus on a special topic: Cultivating Hope. As library
values continue to be threatened and our most vulnerable patrons are
targeted, how are you building and nurturing your communities? Submissions
do not necessarily need to adhere to this topic, but are welcome to explore
it in any capacity.

LFJ is a Diamond Open Access Journal. It is free of charge for all readers.
There are no article processing fees or other charges to authors who
publish in this journal.

This call is open to everyone. You do not need to be a member of LFP to
write for us, although all editors and members of the editorial board are
part of the extended LFP community. Information about joining this
community of practice is available on our website
<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://libraryfreedom.org/__;!!Mz3y04SuVKn4zVb91lY!l1EUXbjKmakMLz33zNNM23Fpi3n-3t9YVtipTzHYbvBwKCikbo7YtFIOfQt-4LQNp7hFdiAd9z4H2KaJApB8CQ$>
.

We seek submissions
