[Libs-Or] book processing question

We do the first page (or title page—original instructions have been lost through oral tradition) as well as page 9, supposedly because if someone was ripping off the cover to steal and resell these they wouldn't get to page 9 and we could prove it's still ours, and until recently every book had a pocked with our name and library image.
I don't think stealing books for resale is a big thing now, but we are continuing to stamp stamp stamp for tradition's sake.

We do first, last, and page 49.  No one knows why we do page 49, and the not knowing drives me crazy.
