*Library Advocates — We know it’s been a busy few days, but this can’t
wait!*

We know this is the second email in as many business days, but that’s how
urgent this moment is.

The public hearing for SB 1098 took place this morning at 8:00 AM, and OLA
President Ayn Frazee and OASL representative Kate Weber delivered powerful
testimony in support of the bill. A huge shoutout to OLA Intellectual
Freedom Committee member Miranda Doyle for her gallant attempt to testify
despite frustrating technical difficulties.

If you missed the hearing*, *you can watch it here: OLIS Media Player

(start at the 23:09 mark).

Now, opposition testimony is pouring into the Legislature, and we need to
counter it with overwhelming support—starting NOW.

The next 48 hours are critical. This is the time to rally.
