Happy (almost) November, Oregon Library Community!

This month's email is a little different than the ones I have shared in the past. I will now be hosting the resources from the current month, as well as all previous months, on my Community Engagement Lib-Guide, under Welcoming Oregon Libraries: Monthly Resources<https://slo.oregon.gov/CommunityEngagement/WelcomingOregonLibraries>. This will allow access to current and past resource lists in one central location.

However, there are a couple things I would still like to highlight in this month's email. Firstly, the State Library of Oregon is happy to share that we will be providing free registration for the upcoming Trauma-Informed Libraries Online Summit<https://slo.oregon.gov/conted/trauma> hosted by Washington Library Association on Tuesday, November 14th. Find a description of the summit, instructions for registering and other key details linked above.  Please note, if you plan to attend the live summit, please request your free registration code no later than noon on Tuesday, November 11.

Secondly, the Oregon Intellectual Freedom Clearinghouse 2025 Report<https://slo.oregon.gov/ld.php?content_id=82461057> on challenges in Oregon libraries and educational institutions reported between July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025, was made available in September.
