[Libs-Or] New members of Statewide Database Committee

The LSTA Advisory Council recently appointed new members of the Statewide Database Licensing Advisory Committee<https://www.oregon.gov/library/libraries/Pages/SDLAC.aspx> (SDLAC) for terms starting July 1, 2026. This committee provides feedback on the scope, structure and success of the statewide database program and assists the State Library staff in the review of library databases and resources for the Statewide Database Licensing Program<https://slo.oregon.gov/SDLP_FAQ/FAQ> (SDLP).


  *   Haley Lagasse, North Bend Public Library, representing public libraries serving less than 25,000


  *   Jean Gritter, Greater Albany Public Schools, representing OASL membership


  *   Elaine Hirsch, Lewis & Clark College, representing academic libraries from a Private Academic Institution

In addition, Julie McMillan (representing OASL membership) and Ian Scofield (representing academic libraries in public institutions) have extended their terms on the committee.

A big thank you to outgoing members: Jennifer McKenzie and Jane Ellen Innes.

The State Library places great value on the feedback provided by our advisory committees and appreciate those that are willing to volunteer their time to represent the Oregon library community.
