Greetings and salutations esteemed library colleagues,

As some of you may know, Sue Bennett retired from the Waldport Public Library in September 2025 after almost 10 years of service. As much as she will be missed, we wholeheartedly wish her and her husband (and pups) a happy and healthy retirement, somewhere sunny hopefully. During this transition, our long-term senior library assistant, Pam Fodness, graciously stepped in as Interim Director, while I served as the senior assistant. Pam says the time has come to pass the torch, so it is my pleasure to announce that I was recently promoted to the Director position this month!

I am thrilled to have this opportunity to further serve this community, and look forward to working with you all in the future.
