[Libs-Or] Deschutes Public Library: Furniture / Shelving Auction Pt.2

Hi library community,
This is part two of Deschutes Public Library's public auction as we continue to move out of our Downtown Bend Library for renovations.  Once again, we have a TON of great stuff up for public auction.  Do you need shelving for $0.10?  What about conference tables?  Or USB plugged seating? Step stools?

It end on 3/29, so get those bids in! See below for details:


Downtown Bend 1st Floor (kids area) Auction

Auction runs from March 19-29

The auction of excess furniture from the kids area at Downtown Bend is now live!

NOTE: These items are going to the highest bidder, so you'll want to check over the next 9 days to make sure you didn't get out-bid!

Here's how to bid on an item:

  1.  Go to this link: https://www.publicsurplus.com/sms/deschutespl,or/list/current
  2.  If it's your first time using you'll be prompted to create an account.
  3.  You can view the auction in either List View or Grid View.
  4.  The bidding for all items will start at $0.10 and go up in increments of $0.05. If you are the highest bidder at close of the auction, you win the item.
  5.  If you have any questions about the items under auction, please send a message through the Public Surplus system. We are working with our Owners' Representative to manage this auction, so they'll answer any questions and will coordinate pick up times/days with the winners.

Please note that this auction is just for the 1st floor kids area furniture and shelving. I'll make a separate announcement when 1st floor staff items also go live on the auction site.
