Advisory Council is an 11-member body that advises the State Library Board on
issues concerning the Talking Book and Braille Services program. Terms on the
Council are for four years. Elected people would serve from January 2009
to December 2012. The Council normally meets four times a year in <st1:City
w:st="on">Salem</st1:City> or <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Portland</st1:City></st1:place>.
