<DIV>The State of Jefferson Scavenger Hunt - an academic competition run by Southern Oregon University Pre-College Youth Programs will happen on the following dates...<BR> <BR>STATE OF JEFFERSON SCAVENGER HUNT-MIDDLE SCHOOL- November 12, 13, 14 & 20<BR>Middle school teams have three days to find answers to academic, audio music tapes, current news, art, and Internet questions using library resources and documentation. The Hunt culminates in an adjudication session on Thursday, November 20 from 9:00am to 2:00pm at Southern Oregon University.<BR> <BR>STATE OF JEFFERSON SCAVENGER HUNT - HIGH SCHOOL – January 7, 8, 9 and 12 <BR>High school teams have three days to find answers to academic, audio music tapes, current news, art, and Internet questions using library resources and documentation. The Hunt culminates in an adjudication session on Monday, January 12 from 9:00am to 2:00pm at Southern Oregon University.<BR> <BR>The questions will be posted at the following website at the time and day the hunt starts: <A href="http://www.sou.edu/youth/competitions/index.html">http://www.sou.edu/youth/competitions/index.html</A><BR> <BR>We have stated in the rules that the area librarians have received notification of the Hunt and have been told that they should not give direct answers to the Hunters. </DIV>
