elects members to their advisory councils; Talking Book and Braille Service
(TBABS) and Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). There is one vacancy on
the TBABS Advisory Council and four vacancies on the LSTA Advisory Council. The
Board of Trustee’s bylaws indicate “the State Librarian shall
suggest nominees for vacant positions on the TBABS and LSTA Advisory Council,
but nominess may also apply in writing directly to the Board Chair.”
