 face="Verdana">This OnPoint chat will use participants' experiences to
understand how
innovation does (and does not) occur in the academic library
environment.
Drawing on individuals' successes and failures, the convener will
identify
obstacles to innovation, discuss various models and theories of
innovation, and
consider how the individual fits in the innovative organization. David
Dahl,
Emerging Technologies Librarian at Towson University, will convene the
June
11th chat.<br>

ACRL OnPoint is a live series of informal monthly text-based chat
sessions. All
ACRL OnPoint chats are free and open to the public. Sessions are
unmoderated,
one hour in length and take place in a Meebo chat room (no audio or
video).
Chats are limited to 80 concurrent participants and will be delivered
on a
