Beaverton City Library, located at 12375 SW Fifth St, Beaverton, Oregon, a
department of the City of Beaverton, Oregon is accepting proposals from
qualified space planners that have an understanding of library specific needs
to review library space usage in order to maximize utility of space, increase
shelving for collections, improve work flow efficiency, and mitigate crowding
and congestion. The resulting recommendations must keep within a
reasonable design and ambiance of the architecture. Along with space layout,
the project should include estimated costs for the changes recommended, broken
down by work area. The intent of this project is to develop workable
solutions with which the library can prioritize and develop future budget
requests. This project should be concluded by December 15, 2009 so that
recommendations can be included in the FY10-11 budget process.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
