I should have been a little more clear. This is on the ALA Council II agenda and is CD #54. I have not yet found a way to get a separate url just for the document.

The "Resolution Endorsing Legislative Proposals for Universal Health Care" passed by ALA Council at the 2009 Annual Conference can be found at http://www.ala.org/ala/aboutala/governance/council/councilagendas/2009annual_council_a.pdf .

You can let Congress and the President know that this is the position of your professional organization. An easy way to do this is to send an email through the ALA Washington Office's Legislative Action Center, http://capwiz.com/ala/home/ . Just enter your zip code and your Congressional representatives will pop up as will President Obama. Then create your own message.
