There has been some confusion on that item so I do apologize for not making that

the deadline for return of those forms to September 18. Thanks to those of you

have been questions about the cost of the databases to libraries. That question
will not be definitively answered until the State Library Board meets on October
19th. HOWEVER the State Library staff will be recommending to the LSTA Advisory
Council & Board that LSTA funds be used to pay the entire cost of the
09-10 Gale database contract since the cost will be significanlty lower than in
previous years and enough funds have been budgeted to pay the
cost for all public, academic, tribal and school
libraries. </FONT></SPAN></LI></DIV>
