The website for Oregon Day of Culture, www.oregondayofculture.org <a href="http://www.oregondayofculture.org"><http://www.oregondayofculture.org></a> , is nearing completion. It will <U>launch Wednesday, September 16</U> and will include a searchable database to which you can post any of your events, taking place from October 1 – 8, 2009. <BR>

You will receive another email on Wednesday confirming that registration is officially open. You will have until Friday, September 25 to post your Oregon Day of Culture events. <U>Registration will close at end of day on Friday, September 25</U>.<BR>
<BR>
The event registration form is easy and quick to complete. It will allow you to post multiple events, to select a discipline and type of event. It will include designations for public and private events. So that means you can post organizational and community cultural events that are open to the public as well as private events, such as a book club meeting, drumming class, a cultural volunteer project, or an Oregon Day of Culture house party.<BR>

The website will include a toolkit with materials to help you promote your participation in Oregon Day of Culture.<BR>

Event coordinator Kirk Mouser is the lead contact for Oregon Day of Culture events but <B>he cannot post your events for you</B>. <U>Please do not send event information to him</U>, or to the Cultural Trust.<BR>
