Please join the UO Portland for Home Movie Day. We invite the community to bring their old 8 mm and 16 mm home movies to be screened at the White Stag Block. Local film experts and archivists from the University of Oregon Libraries will assess the physical condition before projecting movies for viewing. It's always a popular event, and gives people a chance to see films they thought were long-lost. All are invited to attend this celebration of amateur films.

Home Movie Day is an international event intended to help the public learn, enjoy and rescue films now considered obsolete because of digital home video. In addition, more than 50 U.S. cities take part in International Home Movie Day.

Join us at the White Stag Block between 12:00 and 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 18 for this free public event.
