<div>I am writing on behalf of Portland Community College Library to announce that we have hired Ruth Metz to serve as the Central Coordinator for the LSTA funded Continuing Education Project. We are very pleased that Ruth will be a part of this project.
She has a strong background in conducting needs assessments and writing business plans. She also knows many people in the Oregon library community and understands the importance of library-related community education.</div>

<div>For those of you who don’t know Ruth, she is a library consultant and the former Interim Director and Deputy Director for Multnomah County Library.
