<p>WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Library Association (ALA) Washington Office has released the association’s 2009 Legislative Scorecards for the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives.</p>
<p>The Legislative Scorecards outline votes and support of legislation that is important to and has an impact on the library community.</p>
<p>The ALA provides the scorecard as a tool to ALA members for gauging their elected official’s support of library related legislation.</p>
