2012 OLA MLIS Scholarships -<span style=""> </span>March 1
Deadline</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Courier
New";">The application
process is open for </span><span style="font-family:
"Courier New";">Oregon</span><span style="font-family:
"Courier New";"> residents enrolled or planning to
enroll in
a graduate course of study for the Masters in Library &
Information Science
degree for the 2011 - 2012 academic year. Applications from
eligible students
are sought for over $17,000 in scholarship awards. Current
recipients of OLA MLIS
scholarships may reapply annually for up to three years of
awards.<span style=""> </span>It’s a statewide program: rural
applicants or
those planning to work in rural libraries are welcome to apply.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: 0.5in;"><span
style="font-family: "Courier New";">The scholarship
application deadline

1, 2011</span><span style="font-family: "Courier

submit their applications by
February 16 are entered in drawings for $500 Early Bird awards.</span></p>

donations to support this new OLA initiative by using the MLIS
Scholarship
