<p>The Oregon Encyclopedia (The OE) will be in Madras on the evening of Wednesday, May 9, 2012 to co-host a community meeting with the Jefferson County Library District.  The meeting is free and open to the general public. Those who attend the meeting will have the opportunity to learn about The Oregon Encyclopedia and a bit about local history (with a focus on the county seat war between Madras and Culver in the early 20th century). Participants will be asked to contribute their ideas for topics to add to The OE and to learn about the local historical resources at the Jefferson County Public Library and in their communities.  Attached is a press release and a flier with more detailed information about the program.<br clear="all">
