<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;color:rgb(41,48,59)"><br></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;color:rgb(41,48,59)">There will be two annual ILAGO events—The Fall
meeting and Oregon Information Literacy Summit. </span><strong><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;color:rgb(41,48,59)"></span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>The fall meeting will be open to all <strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#29303b">ILAGO</span></strong>
members. The purpose of the meeting is to create a working agenda for the year,
create work groups and plan for addressing agenda items, and review and discuss
items from previous meetings.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>The Oregon Information Literacy Summit will consist of information
literacy updates and presentations (including reports from fall work groups).<span>  </span>The Oregon Information Literacy Summit also
serves as a business meeting for ILAGO.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><u><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#29303b"><br></span></u></strong></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong><u><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#29303b">ILAGO Board</span></u></strong> </p>


<p class="MsoNormal"><span><br></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>The <strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#29303b">ILAGO</span></strong> Board will consist of information
literacy professionals from Oregon. The board will facilitate the fall meeting
and Spring Summit.<span>  </span>The board will also
act on information literacy related issues (i.e. letters, advocacy, etc.)
between the fall meeting and Spring Summit.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>The election of the Vice Chair/Chair Elect will occur on a yearly
basis.<span>  </span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><span><br></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>The elections of the Technology/Communications Officer and
Community College Representative will be staggered with the elections of the
K-12 Representative and College University Representative.<span>   </span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><span><br></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>New board members will be introduced and begin their term at the
Oregon Information Literacy Summit. Outgoing board members will conclude their
terms at the end of the Academic year. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><br></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span>Chair</span></b><i><span> </span></i><span>organizes <span>the fall meeting and relevant board meetings
throughout the year.<span>  </span>The chair
coordinates with the working groups throughout the year. The Chair will work as
needed with outside groups in the articulation of information literacy. The chair
coordinates financial responsibilities with the board. </span>It is preferable
the Chair position alternate from year to year between university/college, two
year college, and K-12 representation.<span>  </span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><span><br></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span>Past-Chair</span></b><span> organizes the Spring Summit and helps provide
a history for incoming board members. The past-chair participates in board
meetings. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><br></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span>Vice-Chair/Chair Elect</span></b><span> assumes the office of Chair after one
year as Vice Chair. The vice-chair assists the Chair; becomes familiar with the
on-going conversation around IL in Oregon; facilitates the Oregon IL conversation
and IL articulation among ILAGO members; attends meetings and chairs meetings
in the absence of the Chair. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><br></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span><span> </span><b>Technology/Communications
Officer</b> maintains listserv and website, including gathering conference
materials and making content from conference sessions accessible after the
event; keeps website updated with current information and links to resources;
ties together the IL Summit web presence and the ILAGO web presence.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><br></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span>K-12 Representative</span></b><span> represents the information literacy
interests of the K-12 community.<span> 
</span>Representatives will participate in board meetings when possible and
provide feedback, commentary, and vote on ongoing issues presented by the
board.<span>  </span>K-12 representatives are
encouraged but not required to attend the fall meeting, Spring Summit, and
participate in workgroups as their schedule allows.<span>   </span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><span><br></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span>Community College Representative </span></b><span>represents
the information literacy interests of the Community Colleges and will
