<DIV><FONT size=2>Community Librarian (part-time/on-call position) - Bend Public Library <BR><BR><B>Closing Date/Time</B><BR>June 7, 2012 - 2:00 PM<BR><BR><B>Summary</B><BR>We are currently seeking a proactive, creative and service-oriented community librarian. The community librarian in this position provides services primarily to adults, with occasional services to children and teens. The person in this position has many opportunities to grow professionally and to make considerable difference in the lives of library visitors. <BR><BR><B>Schedule</B><BR>Varied with day, evening and weekend hours as needed <BR>Schedule and work location can be changed based on the needs of the district.<BR><BR><BR>Starting Monthly Salary Range $19.96/Hour <BR><BR><BR><B>QUALIFICATIONS and DESIRED EXPERIENCE</B><BR>Excellence in providing library services to adults with strong readers’ advisory skills are vital for the successful candidate in this position. <BR><BR>Requires Masters in Library Science and demonstrated experience and success working with adults. Training and/or experience with teens and children’s services is also desired. Must be a self-starter and effective in teams. <BR><BR>Necessary special requirements: Must be able to travel and to provide own transportation to other district locations for occasional work assignments and/or training. <BR></FONT><BR><BR></DIV></body></html>
