<div>The Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research (CHR) in Portland, Oregon has an opening for an on-call Assistant Librarian.</div>

<div>Description:</div>
<div>The Assistant Librarian position exists to (1) develop and perform complex personalized literature searches for CHR project teams, (2) provide reference services for CHR investigators and staff, (3) develop, maintain, and improve the Library's intranet
web presence, and (4) provide expertise in areas including, but not</div>
<div>limited to, copyright, grey literature, scholarly publishing, and trends in technology to support research.</div>

<div>Basic Qualifications:</div>
<div>• Four (4) years of professional library experience</div>
<div>• Master's degree in library science</div>
<div>• Strong internet and online bibliographic database searching skills</div>
<div>• Understanding of medical terminology</div>
<div>• Ability to document work processes</div>
<div>• Working knowledge of HTML and web editor software</div>
<div>• Working knowledge of standard office software</div>
<div>• Ability to work both independently and with a collaborative team</div>
<div>• Excellent oral and written communication skills</div>
<div>• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills</div>

<div>Preferred Qualifications:</div>
<div>• Four (4) years of professional library experience in a medical, health, or research setting </div>
<div>• Experience with systematic review processes </div>
<div>• Experience with searching for grey literature </div>
<div>• Experience with Reference Manager or similar bibliographic management software</div>

<div>Hours/Shift: On-call 0-20 hours per week</div>
