Though PUBLIB is no longer easy to search almost every month or every other month someone asks this question on the PUBLIB list and there have been lots of good answers, including from Lucien. You can go to <a href="http://listserv.oclc.org/archives/publib.html">http://listserv.oclc.org/archives/publib.html</a> and look through the archives. I would look at subject headings during a month, and I know there was a discussion in February. The search function on the list goes to very old content but is not as great with newer content.<br>

We also wipe our devices at checkin here, through the
de-registration process, and include instructions for patrons to
register the device using their own information. We do that for
Kindles, Sony Readers, and Nooks.<br>
