The successful candidate must possess a MLS or MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited university and must have successful administrative and managerial experience in a comparable sized public library system or a large branch library in a major system. The candidate should also have a minimum of 12 years’ experience as a professional librarian in a full service library, including five years in a senior management role.
