Two incidents this morning prompt this question. Both involved people who wanted to leave bulky and/or large amounts of belongings in an entryway, where they could monitor them. As doorways are to be kept clear, I asked both to move their things and both complied. Although keeping entryways clear is not in question, balancing access to the library with the belongings people want or need to bring in with them is the spirit of this question. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Jane Tucker, MS, CPLA<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Director, Astoria Public Library<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>450 Tenth Street<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Astoria, Oregon 97103<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>503.325.7323<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>www.astorialibrary.org<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div></body></html>
