Boulder – Service Excellence for an Inspired Future. The City of Boulder seeks an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced leader to continue its commitment to service excellence for its public library and arts programs. With a work force dedicated to the values
 of customer service, respect, integrity, collaboration and innovation, Boulder Public Library serves the city’s 100,000+ residents from the soon to be renovated Main Library, two neighborhood branches, the Carnegie Branch Library for Local History and an auxiliary
 North Boulder Library facility (opening in 2014). Through its staff and facilities, BPL provides support for Boulder’s performing and fine arts with exhibits, concerts, films, discussions and storytelling for people of all ages. With an $8.2 million annual
 budget and the support of the Boulder Public Library Foundation, the new director and staff (79.51 FTEs) will have the capacity to develop new opportunities for community involvement, programs and services, including being an integral part of the implementation
 of the Main Library Renovation and the Civic Area Plan and facilitating the development of an Arts and Cultural Master Plan.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
