<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">The Association of Research Libraries (ARL), the University of Washington Libraries, and the Conference Planning Committee are pleased to issue this call for proposals for the 2014 Library

 Assessment Conference: Building Effective, Sustainable, Practical Assessment, to be held in Seattle, Washington, August 4–6, 2014.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">The conference goal is to build and further a vibrant library assessment community by bringing together interested practitioners and researchers who have responsibility or interest in

 the broad field of library assessment. The conference provides a mix of invited speakers, contributed papers, posters, and lightning talks and panels in addition to pre- and post-conference workshops that stimulate discussion and provide workable ideas for

 effective, practical, and sustainable library assessment.</span></p>
