The Terroir Creative Writing Festival will be held 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the Yamhill Valley Campus of Chemeketa Community College, 288 N.E. Norton Lane, McMinnville. Sponsored by the Arts Alliance of Yamhill County, the event includes readings
by Oregon authors, workshops, speakers, book sales and signings and an open mic session for all participants. Featured speakers include Oregon’s poet laureate Paulann Petersen; poet <span style="color: black; ">Margaret Chula; </span>poet and nonfiction writer <span style="color: black; ">Barbara
Drake; </span>travel writer <span style="color: black; ">Emily </span></span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; ">Grosvenor</span><span style="color: black; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; ">; memoirist Lisa Ohlen Harris; novelist and nonfiction
writer Karen Karbo; </span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; ">novelist <span style="color: black; ">Stephen Long; </span>poet <span style="color: black; ">Lex Runciman; </span>letterpress artist <span style="color: black; ">Juniper White; </span>poet
