support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the
Center for Technology in Government, University at Albany is leading a
project to help define what roles
public libraries play in opening government within their local

part of this project and in partnership with an advisory committee of
public library, information and library science, and open government
experts, CTG has developed a concept paper
titled <i>Enabling Open Government for All: A planning framework for public libraries</i>. </span></font></div>

are now seeking broad review of this preliminary framework and
