a stakeholder convening about trends in library service on Tuesday April 29, from 9:30 a.m.-- 4:30 p.m. at the New York Public Library. The focus of the meeting, which is the first of three to be held nationwide, is the national digital platform.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:8.5pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#5D4C47">An analysis of IMLS grants to states program finds that states have used more than $1 billion in IMLS funding to support a wide range of digital investments, including massive digitization,
repositories, and data aggregation; data residencies and skills training; self-publishing initiatives; providing access to e-books and developing digital tools.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
