and Technology Act Council concerning LSTA project proposals. They will also consider recommendations from the Talking Book and Braille Services Advisory Council about expenditure of donation funds in 2014-15. An open forum will be held at 11:30 a.m. Anyone

employees and their children enjoyed activities at the State Library during Bring Your Child to Work Day in April. Parents and children toured the library building and learned about library resources by taking part in several hands-on activities. Genealogy
volunteers assisted with family history research and filling in a family tree. Children used microfilm to read about the Apollo 11 lunar landing on July 21, 1969. City directories were used to find out, “Who used to live in your house?” The beautiful bronze
medallions of state symbols, located in the State Library, were used to complete a crossword puzzle. Each participant received a special packet to take home. Forty-five parents and children attended.</span></span><o:p></o:p></p>

</span></span><span class="style181"><span style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">800+</span></span><span class="style101"><span style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""> mailing lists on behalf of state agencies and the Oregon

Impact Survey is an online survey tool designed specifically for public libraries that want to better understand their communities and how people use their public technology resources and services. Written and validated by research staff at the University
of Washington Information School, </span></span><span class="style181"><span style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">the Impact Survey is designed to quickly and easily provide busy librarians with useful data on how their patrons use library
technology services.</span></span><span class="style101"><span style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""> The program saves libraries the time and costs associated with writing, programming, analyzing, and reporting an in-house survey. The tool
