<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Catriel">I regret to share with you the news that Eileen Bell-Garrison passed away this morning after a long fight with cancer. Eileen was a pioneer in establishing and facilitating consortial relationships and
 was instrumental in bringing school, public, and academic libraries together to share resources in times when such agreements were rare. She had a great deal of compassion for all of our needs and the patience to work through sometimes thorny situations until
 we were all able to work as one.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Catriel">She was a courageous woman and I learned much from her in my over thirty years of working with her. Her loss, for me, is both personal and professional, and I know that I am not alone in this feeling.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
