There are just a few members without, some due to city resistance, and I’d like to see that change. One of my points of argument in favor of providing the service will be the new OLA Public Library standards. It is more or less an expectation.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Some of our members get Wi-Fi from the city. We also have some member libraries who are having Wi-Fi donated by local providers as a PR and public service gesture. I believe on pays for this type of connection. The nice part about the unique ISP service is that it removes all the security and management issues from the library network.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>We have found a Wi-Fi access device called UniFi that we’re attaching to the provider’s modem that will provide a patron agreement starting page and collect stats.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Some do shut down the service at night.
