2014, NAEP measured the knowledge of the nation’s eighth–graders in U.S. history, geography, and civics. Results include the changes in student performance overall and by specific demographic groups compared to the first assessment year under the current frameworks,
and 2010, the last year these subjects were administered before the current assessment.<br>

This interactive report presents average score and achievement level results for the nation's eighth-grade students by gender, race/ethnicity, parental education levels, and other student groups. The report also describes classroom practices and students' attitudes
regarding these subjects, and features sample<br>
questions and student performance on those questions.<br>
