<p>The <a href="https://m.box.com/shared_item/https%3A%2F%2Fapp.box.com%2Fs%2Fwbx8o2beavfo1gf1apvqp8hyco4afo8l" target="_blank">
International Latino Book Awards</a> (ILBA) took place on June 27 at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis as part of the American Library Association Annual Meeting. The largest Latino literary and cultural awards in the United States, ILBA honored 246 artists
and book creators, including the author of 2015 Pura Belpré winner <em>I Lived on Butterfly Hill</em>, Marjorie Agosín. Below are the honorees in the young adult categories.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>The awards are sponsored by Latino Literacy Now, a nonprofit cofounded by Edward James Olmos and Kirk Whisler. Award partners include Las Comadres de las Americas and REFORMA, the National Association to Promote Library and Information Services to Latinos,
an affiliate of the American Library Association. More about the Awards can be found at
