<font face="Verdana">We got rid of them quite of ours about three
years ago, and we had very little comment about it. A few people
were sad, but as others said, they got over it quickly.<br>
<br>
For us, the opportunity cost of the space was simply too high.
They took up <i>so</i> much room that could be more productively
used for other things. Same deal with videocassettes.<br>

keeping books on cassette tape for those elderly ladies who
still love their cassette players? We’re ready to jettison
our collection, but have a tiny little qualm about it. I know
